For the next 7 days I'm taking you on an adventure throughout the Abrolhos Islands to mark the Houtman 400 celebrations - 400 years since the archipelago was first discovered by the Dutch East India Company (Verenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie or VOC).. The Houtman Abrolhos Islands are an A-Class Reserve managed by the Department of Fisheries for the conservation of flora and fauna, for tourism, and for purposes associated with fishing and aquaculture industries.
