Robert Allen “Rob” Riggle, Jr. (born April 21, 1970) is an American actor, comedian and retired U.S. Marine officer. He attended Shawnee Mission South High School, where he was involved in the school’s radio and TV stations. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but his family moved to Overland Park, Kansas when he was two years old. Rob Riggle spent over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps and has shown that the military can provide stability while helping pave the way to success. Lieutenant Colonel Riggle retired from the Marine Corps Reserve, having served 23 years total (9 years active duty, 14 years in the reserves) and earned more than 22 medals and ribbons including the Combat Action Ribbon.
