My second trip with N T (first was Just Jaguars) We had a super time. Just been to Sri Lanka Blue Whales and Leopard trip with my daughter. I love taking pictures of predators, but I was running out. Trip Report – 12 Day Pantanal Tour with Naturetrek/SouthWild -July/August 2016. I've just come back from a two-week photographic safari to the Pantanla in Brazil with Naturetrek.



A 12-day holiday in search of the largest of South America's cats and the abundant wildlife of Brazil's Pantanal. There were 6 guests on our tour, a mother & daughter, 2 single travellers and us (age range 23 to 63) - I had read other people's trip reports before going on this tour and group sizes averaged around 10, with one having 13 people on it. The final three nights of my recent 'Just Jaguars' tour organised by Naturetrek (UK) were spent here - and what a lovely way to end a fantastic holiday! I'd seen lions, leopards, cheetahs, tigers, grizzly bears and polar bears, and the only major one left was the jaguar. Whilst we have been to Brazil before, this was our first adventure (with Naturetrek, a UK based company), into the Brazilian Pantanal to see Jaguars, and the other wildlife which the Pantanal is rich in, including giant river otter, caiman, tapir, giant anteater, capybara and abundant birds. Naturetrek Wildlife Holidays is on Facebook. We did 3 Whale watching tours and saw 16 Blue Whales, 1 Whale Shark, Bottlenose, Spinner and Risso’s Dolphins. My second trip with N T (first was Just Jaguars… The lodge itself is in a peaceful location on the river bank, and offers opportunities for walks in the forest, boat trips up- and downriver as well as early-morning and night drives on the approach road and Transpanateira Road. Just Jaguars Tour Review This was a 12 day tour which included two overnight flights, so 9 nights in accommodation. All well organised, stayed in great and different hotels.
