Ship rats are widespread around New Zealand on the three main islands and on many offshore islands. Their coats are really starting to come through.
They are starting to get some peach fuzz hair. While some humans do have the unique ability to wiggle their ears, human ears generally don't move independently and don't get a lot of motion.
